Vs.

The State of West Bengal & Ors.

-------- Mr. Ekramul Bari, Mr. Sk. Imtiaj Uddin.

... for the appellants.

11.06.24 Ct. No. 04 akd The learned Advocate for the appellants submits that during the pendency of the instant appeal they have attained the age of superannuation and, therefore, the initial relief claimed in the writ petition has been lost. Learned Advocate further submits that the appellants may pursue other remedies before the appropriate forum, as the instant appeal has become infructuous in view of the aforesaid event happened during the pendency thereof.

In view of the above, the instant appeal and connected application are dismissed as infructuous. (Harish Tandon, J.) (Prasenjit Biswas, J.)
