Heard learned Advocates appearing for the parties. Petitioner has filed this writ petition being aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the respondent Income Tax Authority concerned (Investigation Wing) in considering the petitioner's representation dated 23rd June, 2022 and the reminder dated 11th August, 2022 as appears at pages 32 and 37 of the writ petition, for release of the seized cash and other seized items in question.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the submission of the parties, this writ petition being WPA 25430 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the Deputy Director of Income Tax (Investigation), Unit-6 (2) to consider and dispose of the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 23rd June, 2022 in accordance with law and by passing a reasoned and speaking order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner or his

authorised representative, within four weeks from the date of communication of this order.

It is recorded that this court has not gone into the merits of the aforesaid representation and the authority concerned while deciding the aforesaid representation shall act strictly in accordance with law.
