The accused is the petitioner before this Court praying for a direction upon the Trial Court for expeditious disposal of GR Case No. 6526/2020 arising out of Baruipur Police Station Case No. 2277/2020 dated 12th November, 2020 under Sections 447/325/354/34 of the Indian Penal Code presently pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate at Baruipur.

It is submitted by the learned Advocate for the petitioner that though charge-sheet has been submitted by the Investigating Authority in the year 2020, it took two years to supply the copies under Section 207 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. Till date charge has not been framed against the accused and trial of the case is being delayed in such manner.

The instant revision is disposed of directing the learned Magistrate to fix a date for consideration of charge within one month from the date of communication of this order and thereafter shall proceed with the trial without any delay. He is further directed to dispose of the case expeditiously and preferably within six months from the date of communication of this order. The application is, thus, disposed of.
