1. The petitioner seeks a direction upon the respondents to resume the air service between Malda to Delhi via Kolkata and North Eastern States.

2. This being a policy matter the question of issuing a direction to the official respondents does not arise as none of the 4th respondent operate any airlines services.

3. Therefore, the relief sought for in this writ petition filed as a public interest litigation cannot be granted.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.
