05.05.2022 IN THE HIGH COURT AT CALCUTTA Sl. No.1 CONSTITUTIONAL WRIT JURISDICTION (PP) APPELLATE SIDE WPA 23170 of 2019 with CAN 1 of 2021 with CAN 2 of 2021 Federation of Bank of Baroda Officers' Association & Ors.

Vs.

Union of India & Ors.

Mr. Victor Chatterjee ....for the petitioners.

Mr. Ranjoy De, Mr. Basabjit Banerjee, Mr. Manas Dasgupta ....for the respondent no.2.

Mr. U. S. Menon, Mr. Abhirup Chakraborty ....for the respondent no.3.

The petitioners do not want to proceed any further with the writ petition though there has been certain developments in connection with the issue involved in the writ petition during the pendency of the same. Some of these developments occurred in terms of the orders passed in the writ petition as also by the Division Bench in an appeal arising out of an order passed in the writ petition.

Without going into the merits of the subsequent developments and their consequences, I allow the withdrawal of the writ petition simplicitor since the writ petitioners are not willing to proceed any further with the same.

The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn without any order as to costs. The connected applications stand automatically disposed of with the dismissal of the writ petition.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
