The petitioners complain of alleged inaction on the part of the Kalyani Police Station in respect of a complaint against the private respondents. 2.

Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, this Court is of the view that the petitioners have effective alternative remedy under the provisions of Section 156(3) of the Cr. P.C. if the police have not registered FIR against the private respondents. However, the disputes also have a serious civil colour and hence appropriate civil proceeding may be taken out by the petitioners in this regard.

With the aforesaid observations, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
