For the State respondents The present writ petition arises out of an order dated 15th January, 2024 passed by the learned Tribunal in the Original Application (in short, OA), being OA 1698 of 2022. By the said order, the Block Land & Land Reforms Officer, Shyampur-II, Mukundapur, Howrah was directed to send a status report positively by the next date fixed through the learned Government representative and the matter was made returnable on 4th December, 2024. The writ petition was filed before this Court on 4th October, 2024 primarily praying for expeditious disposal of the OA. Mr.

Poria, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that on repeated occasions time was sought for on behalf of the respondents towards filing of the status report as directed by the learned Tribunal. Mr. Sahu, learned advocate appearing for the State respondents submits that the status report, as called for by the learned Tribunal, has already been prepared and handed over to the Government representative appearing on behalf of the State respondents before the learned Tribunal on 27th November, 2024. Let the document, as produced be kept on record.

As the status report has already been filed and the returnable date is fixed on 4th December, 2024, no further order is required to be passed in the present writ petition.

The learned Tribunal is requested to hear out the matter expeditiously without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

With the above observations, the writ petition being WPLRT 141 of 2024 is disposed of.
