Petitioners before us are in-laws of the victim. Husband is yet to be arrested.

Post Mortem doctor reserved his opinion with regard to the cause of death in the Post Mortem Report. Post Mortem Report shows that, the body of the victim contained several injuries.

There is a statement recorded under Section 164 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the father of the victim which speaks of demand for dowry and torture being meted out to the victim.

Body of the victim was found in her matrimonial home. In such circumstances, role of the petitioners requires investigation.

Consequently, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 4824 of 2023 is disposed of.
