Present petitioners filed an application for quashing of proceeding being G.R. Case No. 3972 of 2023 arising out of New Town P.S. Case No. 388 of 2023 dated 16.12.2023 under Sections 498A/325/328/307/406/506/34 of Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act along with charge Sheet being no. 52 of 2024 dated 29.02.2024.

State has furnished report in compliance with the order passed by this Court, let the same be kept with the record. 3.

Learned advocate representing defacto-complainant also submits that in connection with another criminal revisional application arising out of same complaint has been filed by the husband has already been disposed of a settled the matter amicably between the parties. Downloaded copy of order passed by the coordinate Bench is placed before this Court.

Therefore, on perusal of the entire facts and circumstances report as well as order passed by the coordinate Bench, it is apparent there is settlement arrived at between the parties and therefore for mutual co-existence present order is liable to be quashed.

In view of the compromise arrived at between the parties the instant application being CRR 4489 of 2024 is hereby allowed and the proceeding pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barasat is hereby quashed in respect of present petitioners.
