Petitioners lastly made their representation on 26th September, to Officer-in-Charge, Bhowanipore Police Station, Calcutta and Officer-inCharge, Marishda Police Station. Learned advocate for the petitioners is unable to apprise whether any further complaints have been submitted before the concerned police station, I am of the view that if the petitioners are faced with inconvenience, they would submit fresh representation before the concerned police station who would exercise their discretion as to whether to take any steps or not.

Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that subsequent to the information furnished on September 26, 2024 there is no instruction that the petitioners faced any further inconvenience. Learned advocate for the State also submits that so far as the information furnished, Bhowanipore Police Station at the relevant period of time conducted an enquiry.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 26035 of 2024 along with CAN 1 of 2024 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
