Ganguly learned Advocate appearing for the State submits that out of 8 charge-sheeted witnesses 5 witnesses have already been examined and the next date is fixed on 31st January, 2024 and 1st February, 2024. The learned Trial Court would take into account that the accused persons are in custody since 22.09.2022 and fix at least a schedule of three dates on each and every 20 days so that the examination of the rest 3 witnesses are concluded within a period of three months.

The learned trial Court will thereafter take efforts to take the trial to its logical conclusion and pronounce its verdict preferably by 31st August, 2024.

With the aforesaid observations CRR 4171 of 2023 is disposed of.

Pending application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
