Dismissed that the petitioner is in custody for 1020 days and unnecessarily the trial is being dragged.

Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, submits a report which reflects that, out of 14 witnesses, deposition of 13 witnesses have already been completed and one more witness is left to be examined.

Learned trial court is directed to conclude the evidence of the said witness which is left out within a period of 60 days. Having regard to the gravity of the offence and the stage of the case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, CRM(M) 2605 of 2025 is dismissed. Report submitted by the State be kept with the record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly
