1. Further compliance report is placed on record.

2. We have perused the report. We note the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for video recording of search and seizure in narcotics and other cases have been issued. Training programmes have been undertaken to apprise the officers of the necessity to videograph the entire procedure. In addition to training, 189 body worn cameras and 123 video cameras have also been purchased. Demand for release of further funds to purchase 443 and 130 body worn and video cameras respectively have been made.

3. This court appreciates the steps taken in this regard.

4. We hope and trust the Central Government shall release funds so that members of the BSF and other para military forces are provided with adequate facilities in the form of body worn camera and video camera in order to discharge their duties efficiently and videograph search and seizure proceeding.

5. With these observations proceeding is closed.

6. Rule is discharged.
