The instant application filed with a prayer for expeditious disposal of Case No. N-120/2021 arising out of Gaighata P.S. Case No. 862 of 2021 dated 21.09.2021 under Section 21(C) of N.D.P.S. Act pending before the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge, 6th Court, Barasat, North 24 Parganas. In terms of the order dated 27.09.2022, the trial Court rejected the bail prayer of the petitioner. In that circumstance, the prayer is made for expeditious disposal of the trial. In terms of the impugned order dated 27.09.2022, the trial Court not only rejected the bail application but stated that the Court is overburdened with fifteen hundreds of cases. It also appears from that order that the charge has already been framed. Since the petitioner is in custody, justice demands that the trial will be expedited.

The trial Court shall endeavour to dispose of the trial expeditiously without any undue adjournments. The learned Registrar General, High Court at Calcutta may move the High Court administration for creation of another N.D.P.S. Court in the area since, as stated in the order dated 27.09.

Court is overburdened with pending trials.

The copy of this order may be sent to the trial Court forthwith without giving any undue adjournments. The copy of this order be also sent to the learned Registrar General, High Court at Calcutta forthwith for compliance.

Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 4221 of 2022 is disposed of.
