The petitioner complains of illegal and unauthorised construction raised at the instance of the private respondents at No.141, Moulana Abul Kalam Azad Sarani, Kolkata - 700 011 under Ward 30, Borough-III, Kolkata Municipal Corporation.

Learned advocate representing the Corporation submits, upon instructions, that a proceeding to deal with the unauthorised construction stood concluded by an order dated November 23, 2023 passed by the Special Officer (Building), KMC, and that the order is awaiting approval of the superior authority.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the Executive Engineer (Civil/Building), Borough-III, KMC, is directed to take necessary steps to obtain necessary approval of the said order at the earliest and thereafter communicate the same to the parties.

The writ petition is disposed of.

Certified copy of this order, if applied for, shall be made available to the parties.
