Having heard counsel for the parties, Mr.

Jagadish Chandra Majumder, learned Advocate, practicing for 30 years in Criminal law at the Barrackpore Court, is hereby appointed as Special Public Prosecutor.

The Public Prosecutor, Mr. Santanu Basu shall ensure that the cause paper in respect of subject case, SC Case No. 70 of 2018 arising out of Khardah P. S. Case No. 571 of 2014 now pending before the Third Additional District and Sessions Judge, Barrackpore be handed over immediately.

The Office of the Legal Remembrancer shall issue formal orders of appointment from his end. The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
