No. 29 CHC Rejected C.R.M.(A) 4838 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Dalkhola Police Station Case No. 25 of 2022 dated 18.01.2022 under Sections 21(C)/29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.

And In the matter of : Jyotirmay Biswas @ Jyotirmay Biswas @ Jyotir ...... petitioner Mr. Shaharayar Alam ...for the petitioner Mr. Sanjoy Bardhan, Mrs. Baishakhi Chatterjee ....for the State Warrant of Proclamation of Attachment was executed as against the petitioner. The police is dated January 18, 2022. Apart from Warrant of Proclamation and Attachment there is an issue of long absconsion.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 4838 of 2023 is disposed of.
