The petitioners are the confirmed Assistant Teachers of Primary Schools, under District Primary School Council Dakshin Dinajpur. The petitioners are praying mutual transfer.

A report was called for from the said Council, Ms. Iti Dutta, learned advocate for the said Council files such report/instruction dated December 10, 2024, which says that the students of the schools of the petitioners would not be affected if their prayer for mutual transfer is allowed.

In view of such position, the Chairman, of the said Council, the respondent no.6 herein is directed to take steps for such mutual transfer of the petitioners in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

WPA 26024 of 2024 is thus disposed of without any order as to costs.

No affidavit since has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.
