Mr. Tapash Kr. Bhattacharya, Mr. Aviroop Bhattacharya ...for the petitioner Mr. K. J. Yusuf, Mr. Saurav Chaughuri ....for the State Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept with the record.

Petitioner complains that he purchased a shop room and thereafter he was threatened by the private respondents who are trying to forcefully oust him.

Learned Advocate for the State submitted a report. Report reflects that the police authorities have already drawn up proceedings under Section 126/135 of the BNSS.

However having regard to the apprehension expressed by the petitioner I direct the police authorities to keep a strict vigil so that no untoward incident takes place as the petitioner apprehends pursuant to the alleged threatening of being thrown out of the shop premises. Petitioner

would be at liberty to approach the jurisdictional civil court for appropriate remedies. However as directed above police authorities would keep strict vigil and see that no untoward incident takes place.

Report submitted today be kept with the record.

A copy of the report is handed over to the learned advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 26101 of 2024 is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
