Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the respondent no.4 had taken money to the tune of Rs. 9 lakhs for giving a job, but provided him with a false letter of appointment as a school teacher in a Government School. The petitioner lodged a complaint before the police authorities, but no steps were taken. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the private respondent denies the allegations and submits that he would take appropriate steps in case any FIR is registered. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies

on the report and submits that on the complaint of the petitioner, a specific FIR being Ashoknagar Police Station Case No. 726 dated 20.10.2023 has been registered under Sections 467, 468, 420, 406 and 120B of the Penal Code. The police are investigating the alleged offences. As the prime grievance of the petitioner of nonregistration of an FIR has already been redressed, no further order need be passed in this regard.

Let the investigation be concluded expeditiously and in accordance with law.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
