Vaisya Mr. Nilay Baran Mondal ..for DPSC, Purulia From the report filed by the Assistant Inspector of Schools, Primary Education, Purulia it appears that the pupil teacher ratio in the school is 66.66 : 1 considering the para-teacher also. Therefore, pupil teacher ratio is much above the ratio prescribed by the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009.

Therefore, at this stage there cannot be any direction for transfer of the petitioner.

The writ application is dismissed. However, such dismissal will not prevent the petitioner from filing further application when the pupil teacher ratio will come within the prescribed limit of the aforesaid act.
