Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners approached this Court as they were dissatisfied with the inaction in respect of their information which was furnished with Sandeshkhali Police Station.

Mr. Yusuf, learned Additional Government Pleader submits a report. Report reflects that on the basis of the information so furnished, Sandeshkhali Police Station Case No.496 of 2024 dated 23.11.2024 has been registered for investigation.

In view of the prayer so advanced in the writ petition having been sub-served pursuant to the case being registered, the prayer for which the petitioners

approached this Court has been sub-served. The investigating authority will take the investigation to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 26105 of 2024 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report so submitted be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
