1. The contemnor is personally present in court today.

2. An affidavit of compliance is filed on behalf of the contemnor, which is kept on record.

3. Learned counsel appearing for the contemnor points out that subsequent to the previous order dated July 11, 2025 passed in the contempt application, the petitioner withdrew the second complaint, which still remained to be decided, in view of a fresh complaint having been filed. An order has accordingly been passed on the said complaint in the light of the request of the petitioner to withdraw the same.

4. The copy of the letter of the petitioner intimating his desire to withdraw the previous contempt in view of having lodged a further complaint, as well as the order passed thereon, are brought on record as annexures to the affidavit of compliance.

5. Upon a perusal of the said affidavit and upon hearing learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned counsel for the contemnor, this court is satisfied that the act of contempt, if any, has been purged by disposing of both the complaints of the petitioner (since the first complaint had already been decided previously). As such, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending further unnecessarily.

6. Accordingly, WPCRC 89 of 2025 is discharged. The connected contempt application, being CPAN 1675 of 2024, stands disposed of consequentially.

7. Needless to say, further personal appearance of the contemnor is dispensed with.

8. There will be no order as to costs.
