Mr. Ratul Biswas Mr. Sourojit Mukherjee ...for the petitioner Mr. Somnath Bose ...for CESC Limited The petitioner wants to shift a transformer installed by Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation (CESC) allegedly on a plot of land owned by him. Learned advocate appearing for CESC submits that the petitioner is a subsequent purchaser and even before the purchase by the petitioner, the transformer was installed.

I am of the view that the petitioner should make a formal application before CESC through online for shifting of the transformer.

If any such application is made, the same shall be considered by CESC in accordance with law. Accordingly, WPA 26149 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
