1. Heard learned lawyers for the parties.

2. We have considered materials on record. Allegations involve gun-shot injuries on a number of victims, two of whom died. Petitioners had absconded and did not cooperate with the investigating agency.

3. Under such circumstances and in view of the gravity of offence we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Gaurang Kanth, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
