Petitioner has approached this Court being 11.08.2025 Court No. 35 Item No.02 Rakib aggrieved by the manner in which the investigation was progressing in connection with Barasat Police Station case no. 811/2023 dated 17.11.2023. Pursuant to the earlier direction the investigating officer examined the accused persons, seized relevant documents and the verification of the relevant documents are in process. Having considered that the investigating officer in the report dated 11.08.2025 before this Court has expressed that he is in a position to submit his report under Section 173 of Cr.P.C. within a reasonable period of time, I direct the petitioner to approach the learned C.J.M., Barasat who is in seisin of Barasat PS case no. 811/2023. Learned C.J.M., Barasat will call for a report every 30 days till the investigating agency submits its report under Section 173 Cr.P.C. It is further directed that the progress of the investigation be also monitored by the concerned Magistrate as substantial time has passed since the commencement of the investigation.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 24854 of 2023 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
