1. Mr. Amitava Chaudhuri, learned counsel representing the appellants, submits that the appeal was filed against an interim order and now having regard to the fact that the writ petition has been dismissed on 15th May, 2023, this appeal has now become infructuous.

2. In view of the above, the appeal being MAT 1831 of 2022 stands dismissed as infructuous.

3. In view of dismissal of the appeal CAN 1 of 2022 is accordingly dismissed.

4. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

5. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking.
