Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody for one year and three months and although charge-sheet has been submitted and charge has been framed, only three witnesses till date has been examined out of the 45 witnesses proposed in the charge-sheet. Learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State on the other hand submits that the prosecution proposes to examine 25 witnesses (approximately). All efforts are being taken by the prosecution to conclude the trial at the earliest. I have taken into account the Case Diary and the nature of materials appearing against the petitioner and having regard to the same, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. As Such the prayer for bail of the petitioner is dismissed.

However, the learned trial Court is directed to expedite the process of the trial.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 2303 of 2025 is rejected. Case Diary be returned to the learned advocate appearing for the State.

All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
