Learned Counsel appearing for the State opposes the prayer for bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Petitioner hit the housewife on various parts of her body. As a result, she succumbed to her injuries.

In view of the aforesaid incriminating materials and gravity of the offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
