The instant writ petition relates to the recruitment of a Lecturer on Surgery and Practice of Medicine in Bengal Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Ismile, P.O. & P.S. - Asansole, District - Burdwan.

The writ petitioner seeks, inter alia, direction upon the respondents concerned to publish publicly the result of the interview held on 22.11.2005 for the recruitment of Lecturer on Surgery and Practice of Medicine in Bengal Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, and appoint the petitioner in the said post if the petitioner is found eligible otherwise.

None appears on behalf of the petitioner and no accommodation is prayed for.

This case pertains to the year 2006. No affidavitin-opposition or affidavit-in-reply thereto has yet been filed as per office report.

Considering the nature of prayer and the long pendency of this case, it seems the writ petitioner is no longer interested in pursuing the instant case due to two reasons: firstly, the purpose of filing this writ petition has been resolved, and/or secondly, he may have abandoned his prayer.

In the above backdrop, the writ petition being WPA 26350 of 2006 is dismissed.

Connected applications, if any, are also, thus, disposed of.

There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 9.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

All parties shall act in terms of the copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
