The records of the case reflect that the grievance of the writ petition was in respect of an order passed in a proceeding under section 144(2) of the cr.p.c. in MP Case No. 1991 of 2010, wherein, after the said order was passed and communicated to the inspector in charge of Sonarpur P.S., no police assistance was rendered.

Having considered the time frame,

which has elapsed since the initiation of the writ petition, I am of the view that the cause of action do not survive.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 22540 of 2010 is dismissed.

Pending application, if any, is also dismissed.
