(DB) No. 4093 of 2022 In Re:- An application for bail under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Mayureswar Police Station Case No. 49 of 2022 dated 22.02.2022 under Sections 302/120B/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 25/27/35 of the Arms Act.

And In Re : Chandan Biswas ..... petitioner Mr. S. S. Roy Mr. Somnath Banerjee Mr. Pronojit Roy ... for the petitioner Mr. Neguive Ahmed, learned APP Ms. Trina Mitra ... for the State Heard the learned Counsels appearing for the parties. We have considered the materials on record. Bail prayer of the petitioner was rejected in July, 2022. Thereafter trial of the case has commenced.

In view of the aforesaid circumstances, we are unable to persuade ourselves to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. The application for bail is, thus, rejected. Trial court is requested to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting adjournments to either of the parties.
