The writ petition was lastly listed on 03.11.2010 and thereafter the petitioner did not pursue the matter. The grievance of the petitioners was in relation to a proceeding under Section 144(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure and the consequent police inaction. Having considered the time frame which has lapsed in the meantime, I am of the view that no interference is called for at this belated stage in respect of the representation made to the Officer-in-Charge, Taltala Police Station on 24.10.2010.

The petitioners would be at liberty to take appropriate steps before the authorities or the proper forum, in case they face crisis on the same issues.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 22553 of 2010 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
