The petitioners are the confirmed Assistant Teachers of different schools under the D.P.S.C., Purba Bardhaman, the respondent no. 5 herein, they are praying for mutual transfer.

The petitioner no. 1 is an Assistant Teacher of Mandardihi Improved Primary School, under Bhatar Circle, whereas the petitioner no. 2 is an Assistant Teacher of Sahebnagar F.P. School under Katwa East Circle of the said Council.

The applications of the petitioners for mutual transfer, both dated July 13, 2024 forms part of the writ petition being Annexure - 'P3' collectively.

The Chairman of the said Council, the respondent no. 6 herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the said applications of the petitioners expeditiously in accordance with law,

preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

W.P.A. 26218 of 2024 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs. Parties to act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
