In compliance of this Court's order dated 22.01.2026, the petitioner herein has preferred an appeal before the Central Government Industrial Tribunal, Kolkata which has been registered as Appeal Case No. 5 of 2026. There is no regular Presiding Officer at CGIT, Kolkata at present. 2.

As such it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that their interest may be protected till the matter is taken up by the tribunal.

The petitioner herein has challenged an order under Section 14-B and 7-Q which has been passed in a composite hearing and a composite notice of demand has also been issued to the petitioner herein on 30.04.2025 by the Recovery Officer, Howrah. 4.

In view of the fact that an appeal has been filed and there is no regular Presiding Officer, the writ application is disposed of with the direction that the orders under 14B and 7Q passed by the respondent

herein vide order dated 07.02.2025 and the recovery notice dated 30.04.2025 be stayed till the stay application before the CGIT, Kolkata is taken up for hearing.

WPA 25335 of 2025 stands disposed of.

Applications, if any, connected thereto stand disposed of consequently.

Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

8.

Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis upon compliance of all formalities.
