Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is a defacto-complainant of Hare Street Police Station Case No. 114 dated 16.05.2022 under Sections 498A, 406 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. In spite of lodging this complaint so far back, till now no effort has been made even to recover the stridhan articles far less filing a charge sheet. Statements of relevant witnesses have not been recorded.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State relies on the report and submits as follows. All possible steps were

taken as required in investigating the case. Witnesses were examined. Raids were held. In fact, a team went to Pimpri, Maharashtra and with the help of local police held raid in the house of the accused. But, no stridhan could be recovered. Notice was issued under Section 41A of the Code. The same was complied with by the accused husband. Notice was given under Section 91 of the Code. Investigation is going on and very soon a report in final form would be filed.

It appears that the Investigating Agency has taken steps in investigating the case at hand.

Let the investigation be concluded expeditiously and in accordance with law.

With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
