Learned advocate for the Municipality submits that he has filed Vakalatnama in the department vide filing No. A-10620 dated 17th June, 2022. The department is directed to tag the same with the records.

The petitioner is aggrieved by the act of the Uluberia Municipality in not providing water connection at his premises being No. 102/442/425, Municipal Ward No. 18(14), J.L. No. 107, RS Dag No. 902, RS Khatian No. 13, Village-Kotalghata, P.O.-Kushberia, P.S.-Uluberia, District-Howrah-711316.

Learned advocate appearing for the Uluberia Municipality submits that by a communication dated

19th November, 2019, the petitioner was intimated to deposit the requisite feess for the process of water connection to be completed.

The petitioner did not pay the requisite fees and accordingly, water connection could not be given at the petitioner's premises.

The instant writ petition is disposed of by granting liberty to the petitioner to act strictly in accordance with the communication dated 19th November, 2019 and deposit the fees for obtaining the water connection.

The amount which is to be deposited by the petitioner shall be intimated to him positively within a fortnight from date.

On making payment, the Municipality shall give water connection in the petitioner's premises within a fortnight thereafter.

The writ petition stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
