The petitioner alleges that although she had qualified at the recruitment process for being appointed as an Asha at South Kolsur sub-centre, but no appointment letter had been issued.

Records reveal that the petitioner was the second empanelled candidate. The petitioner submits that no one has yet joined and the vacancy continues.

These are disputed questions of fact which cannot be gone into by the court. Admittedly, the petitioner was not the best candidate at the selection process.

If, the petitioner approaches the concerned Block Medical Officer of Health to know the fate of

the selection process, necessary information shall be supplied to the petitioner as to whether any candidate has been appointed as an Asha at South Kolsur sub-centre.

Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. However, there will be no order as to costs.

All the parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
