The report states that, the revision of scale of pay of the writ petitioner was made by the office order dated March 5, 2014. Writ petitioner never reported to the institute since October 2014 and did not submit duly filled in Form No. 5 for his pension. Consequently, his retiral benefit could not be paid. Writ petitioner was unauthorisedly absent for several years from 1997 to 2007.

Learned advocate appearing for the writ petitioner submits that, the writ petitioner will take requisite steps before the appropriate authority.

In view of such stand taken by the writ petitioner, WP.ST 231 of 2015 is disposed of without any order as to costs.
