1. Although, the respondent no. 2 is personally present in Court today, however, since he is not represented by any advocate, Mr. Ganguli, learned Senior Advocate and Additional Government Pleader who is present in Court is directed to represent him along with a junior of his choice. Let their appointments be regularized.

2. Today, Mr. Bhattacharya learned advocate appearing for the petitioner by placing before this Court communications dated 14th July, 2025 and 4th August, 2025 issued by the Additional District Inspector of Schools, Contai addressed to the Headmaster of Bartana Pravati Ashram High School submits that in furtherance to the order dated 1st July, 2025, a sum of Rs.23,160/- is being deducted from the salary payable to the respondent no. 4 and the same is to be remitted month by month to the petitioner / bank. Let copies of the communication dated 14th July 2025 and 4th August 2025 be retained with the record.

3. As would appear from the above, a sum of Rs.6,75,657/- is due and payable by the respondent no. 4 on account of principal and Rs.65,714/- on account of interest to the petitioner. I, however, find that a certificate for a sum of Rs.6,75,656/- has been issued by the Certificate Officer and Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Purba Medinipur, Range II, Contai on 21st December 2023.

4. Having regard thereto, I direct the respondent no. 5 to only realize and remit the aforesaid certificate amount to the petitioner. Once, the aforesaid amount is realized and remitted, no further deduction from the salary of the respondent no. 4 shall be made.

5. The restriction contained in the order dated 1st July 2025 which restrained the respondent no. 2 from drawing any salary until further orders, is hereby lifted.

6. Since, the primary grievance of the petitioner has been met and though, the respondent no. 4 has not appeared despite service, I am of the view that nothing survives in the present writ petition.

7. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of.

8. All parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of this order duly downloaded from this Court's official website.
