The explanation given by the alleged contemnor as regards his failure to comply with the direction passed by this Court on 5th April 2024 is accepted.

Since, the order dated 11th July 2023 has been substantially complied with and since in terms of the said direction a sum of Rs.2,22,430/- has paid by computing the same up to the date of retirement of the petitioner, let the rule issued by this Court on 10th May 2024 stand discharged.

The contempt application being CPAN 1471 of 2023 is disposed of accordingly.
