1. None appears on behalf of the respondents.

2. Affidavit-of-service filed on behalf of the petitioner is taken on record.

3. The petitioner is aggrieved by the order of revocation of permission for production of seeds under the seed certification programme.

4. On a perusal of the impugned order, it appears that the petitioner was unable to produce documents in support of running his business.

5. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that as the brother of the petitioner had died and the dwelling house of the petitioner collapsed due to heavy rain, he was not in a position to produce all documents. The petitioner has since collected documents and intends to get the order reviewed by the authority.

6. A representation seeking extension of time for filing documents is pending consideration at the end of the authority for a considerable period of time.

7. As the respondents are not represented, the Court is not in a position to decide the issue conclusively.

8. In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no. 4, being Assistant Director of Agriculture (Administration),

Arambagh Sub-Division to consider the prayer of the petitioner for production of documents.

9. In the event the petitioner is successful in submitting all the relevant documents within two weeks from date, then the authority shall take steps in the matter in accordance with law.

10. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
