The Inspector-in-Charge, Katwa Police Station has filed status report. Investigation is on. The accused have surrendered before the ACJM, Katwa and have been released on bail on 27.03.2023. It is ordered that the investigation is completed within one month from date. Katwa Police shall ensure that the petitioner is able to ply his vehicle in terms of the permit without obstruction, from Illambazar to Krishnanagar via Katwa bus stand.

The petitioner shall, however, carry the permits and documents in relation to the vehicle-in-question. The writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
