Taking advantage of his occupation, the de facto complainant and her family members used to threaten the neighbours. Several complaints were lodged in this regard. As the petitioner protested, he has been falsely implicated in this case.

Learned counsel for the de facto complainant opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail and relies on the statements of the victim as well as the local witnesses and the injury report. Considering the other materials available in the case diary including the statements of neighbours, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail. The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
