This application for special leave to appeal has been preferred against the judgment and order of acquittal dated 8th August, 2023 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 8th Court, Calcutta, in connection with Complaint Case No.18 of 2007 under Sections 403/406/408 of the Indian Penal Code.

Having heard the learned advocate on behalf of the appellant on the ground of appeal and also having gone through the judgment impugned, I allow the instant application for special leave to appeal. 3.

The appellant is at liberty to prefer an appeal within the statutory period.
