L. no.174.

The petitioner submits that the Municipality has installed a notice board in the said plot claiming itself to be the owner of the said land. The petitioner also submits that the relevant Revenue Inspector by an order dated March 2, 2023, had intimated the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Midnapore Sadar, District - Paschim Midnapore that the property in question had been gifted to the petitioner and she was in possession over the said plot.

It has been submitted by the Municipality that the land in question is vested with the State. The petitioner denies that.

I am not inclined to pass any order as prayed for in the writ petition. I direct the Block Land and Land Reforms Officer, Midnapore Sadar, District -Paschim Midnapore to provide the documents relating to vesting of the relevant plot, if any, to the petitioner within a period of three weeks from the date of communication of this order.

If the petitioner is inclined to challenge the vesting order, if any, she will be entitled to do so in accordance with law.

Accordingly, WPA 24962 of 2023 is disposed of.
