The report reflects that substantial endeavours have been taken by the investigating agency and a close supervision is being carried out. Efforts are being made to detect and bring the culprits to justice.

Case diary has been produced. Case diary reflects regarding the steps taken. Prima facie, the investigation is being supervised by a superior officer of police.

Let a monthly progress report be submitted before the learned jurisdictional Magistrate in seisin of the case and in case, any recovery is made, the de facto complainant be made aware regarding the progress of the investigation.

Since the case was registered on 03.05.2024 and till date only efforts have been made by the investigating agency, I direct that if the investigation is not concluded within a period of

ninety days, the investigating officer will send a progress report to the de facto complainant also on each and every ninety days.

In case any information is available with the de facto complainant, the same be also brought to the notice of the learned Magistrate so that learned jurisdictional Magistrate can pass specific directions upon the superior officer of police. With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 26212 of 2024 is disposed of. A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. Case diary be returned to the learned advocate appearing for the State.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
