The grievance of the petitioner was that the police authorities did not take any step for preventing the breach of peace at the locale in spite of information sent to the Officer-in-Charge, Mayureswar Police Station and the Superintendent of Police, Birbhum. Having considered the time period which has lapsed since the representation was made in the year 2010, I am of the view that the cause of action do not survive.

Accordingly, WPA 22608 of is dismissed.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
