1. The petitioner, who is a practicing advocate before this court, has filed this writ petition praying for a direction upon the authorities to restore a water body which, according to the petitioner, is being illegally filled up.

2. In this regard, a representation was made by the writ petitioner on 27.09.2023 to the authorities and alleging that the representations have not been considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. On going through the representation, we find that it is absolutely vague and no details have been given and it is expected that the petitioner, being a practicing advocate before this court, has to take more care before approaching this court by way of public interest litigation.

4. Therefore, at this juncture the direction, sought for, cannot be granted.

5. However, liberty is granted to the writ petitioner to approach the concerned authorities by way of appropriate representation.

6. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed.
