Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 19.09.2021 and presently out of the 30 witnesses proposed to be examined only 19 witnesses have been examined. As such the petitioner may be released on bail.

On the other hand learned advocate appearing for the State emphasizes on the merits of the case, particularly, with regard to the heinousness of the offence.

Be that as it may, as a matter of last chance State is granted six months more time to conclude the rest of the 11 witnesses which it intends to rely upon in order to prove its case.

If the evidence is not over by 15th of May, 2025, petitioner would be at liberty to approach this Court for renewing his prayer for bail.

No unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties and the trial of the case would proceed in spite of any resolution of the local bar.

Accordingly, CRM (M) 2328 of 2025 is disposed of. All parties shall act in terms of server copy of the order downloaded from the official website of this Court. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
